Chef Boyd had been in the catering business for 18 years before opening The Foodie Cafe. His love for food—and his dislike of processed lunch meats—led him to create a scratch kitchen where everything is made in-house. Every piece of meat is brined, marinated, smoked, roasted, or grilled to bring out deep, rich flavors. Sauces, dressings, and condiments? All made fresh, no store-bought bottles in sight. The goal?
