The salads are yummy, and the one with steak is especially so. I get it often! The burgers are also delicious. Friendly staff and nice area to sit indoors or out. The breakfast menu is intriguing, and one I must try - with a hearty appetite! Nice to have this local gem.

I found The Foodie Cafe while looking for places in the area that have monte cristo sandwiches, my mom's favorite. We haven't found any that dip the whole sandwich, but my mom said that The Foodie Cafe's donut monte cristo was the best she's had of all of the monte cristos in Chico. She appreciated that there wasn't a ... weird sauce on it, like the one at Cheesecake Factory, and said that the donut gave it the same vibe as the whole thing being dipped in batter rather than just a sandwich on French toast. Okay, this is one of Chico's hidden treasures, at the Chico Municipal Airport! I am not a huge French Fry guy, but the Thai Fry's were over the top good! Perfect, sweet with a little heat! Also a great atmosphere with excellent service!

So glad a coworker told me about this place. Definitely a foodie place! The Monte Cristo my wife had was amazing, it's made from a donut and has delicious blackberries on top! Wow. The atmosphere is nice. Chill spot. Super fast service from a friendly fella. The food is bold. Good flavors. The fries were delicious and if I would critique at all I’d say they need way more garlic. Good pastrami sandwich.
